The RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo can be used as a multitrack audio interface with Hindenburg on Windows, allowing you to record each input on its own track for greater flexibility during editing.
Please note: Windows requires the RØDECaster Series ASIO Driver to enable multitrack recording.
Download: RØDECaster Series ASIO Driver
Configure the RØDECaster
- On your RØDECaster, enable USB Multitrack by navigating to:
Settings > Outputs > USB > Multitrack. - Select whether you want the multitrack outputs to be Pre-Fader or Post-Fader.
- Connect the USB 1 port on the RØDECaster to your computer using a USB-C cable.
Configure Hindenburg
-
Open Hindenburg, then navigate to Tools > Options.
- Enable ASIO.
- Select RØDECaster as the audio device.
-
Ensure the sample rate is set to 48 kHz, then click OK.
-
For each track, choose either RØDECaster Mono or RØDECaster Stereo, then select the desired RØDECaster input.
Tip: Recording in multitrack mode captures each microphone and input on its own track, giving you greater control when editing and mixing your recordings.
Please note: Hindenburg and the RØDECaster should both use a 48 kHz sample rate for the best compatibility and to avoid audio synchronisation issues.
