If you'd like to control your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo using your Elgato Stream Deck, especially when your RØDECaster is a little far away or in another room, you can use the free MIDI plugin for the Stream Deck. This lets you manage your microphones, mute them, and smartpads—all from the Stream Deck, so you don't have to physically touch your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo.
You can create your own profile, or you can use our own template RØDECaster Stream Deck Profile linked here.
Note: Ensure you have enabled MIDI in the steps below for the template profile to behave as expected.

Getting your RØDECaster Setup for MIDI
You can enable MIDI Control from the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo either directly from the touchscreen or using the RØDECaster App.
1: Using the RØDECaster Touchscreen
Tap Settings
Go to System > MIDI

Tap the circle icon so it’s illuminated white
This turns on bidirectional MIDI communication between your computer and the RØDECaster.
2: Using the RØDECaster App
Open the RØDECaster App on your computer
Go to Device Configuration > Settings > MIDI Control
Toggle the setting on to enable MIDI
Stream Deck MIDI Setup:
Step 1: Install the MIDI Plugin
Open the Stream Deck Marketplace
Search for “MIDI” in the Plugins menu
Download and install the free MIDI Plugin
This plugin allows your Stream Deck to communicate with your RØDECaster via MIDI.
Step 2: Connect and Configure
Make sure MIDI is enabled on your RØDECaster (see previous section)
With the plugin installed, open the Stream Deck app
Drag the control type “CC/NRPN” onto one of your Stream Deck buttons

Configure the following within the button settings:

Button Type
Use the MIDI Command Tables below to set the correct values.
Please note: Each command requires a separate button. The Channel, Command, and Button Type can be changed; all other settings must remain the same.
