Getting Started with the RØDECaster Pro II/ Duo

When you first receive the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo, while you can use the unit out of the box, we'd suggest a couple of things to perform with the kit before using it for recording to maximize the potential of the RØDECaster Pro II/ Duo.

• Make sure you update the firmware of the RØDECaster Pro II/ Duo using the RØDE Central desktop app on a Mac or PC by downloading the software here.
  1. This ensures that the latest features and updates are applied.
  2. You can also update the RØDECaster Pro II/ Duo firmware using WIFI, Ethernet or Mobile Hotspot.

• Connect a MicroSD card or USB drive to the RØDECaster Pro II/ Duo.
  1. This useful feature allows you to record audio directly from the RØDECaster Pro II/ Duo without the need for a computer.

• Set up multitrack recording if recording a podcast/broadcast via MicroSD, USB drive or computer. 
  1. This is great for editing individual audio tracks in DAW or editing software.
