If you would like to use the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo to handle the audio being sent to TikTok Studio from a Windows PC or laptop, and control your audio using the faders, follow the setup below.
Connect the RØDECaster to your Windows computer using the provided USB C cable, then launch TikTok Studio.
The following setup allows you to control your audio sources using the faders on the RØDECaster.
Configure the RØDECaster USB 1 Settings
On your RØDECaster, navigate to:
Settings > Outputs > Multitrack > USB 1 Input/Output
- Set USB 1 Input to Standard.
- Set USB 1 Output to Post Fader.
Configure Windows System Audio
For your Windows system audio output and input device, select RØDECaster USB Chat.
This audio will appear on the USB 1 Chat fader on your RØDECaster.
Configure Other Applications
For other applications, such as Spotify or Google Chrome, select Main Multitrack in the Windows Volume Mixer.
This includes browsers, Spotify, and any other application you want to control using a fader on your RØDECaster.
This audio will appear on the USB 1 fader.
Configure TikTok Studio
In TikTok Studio, select USB Chat for both the input and output.
Mute the output in TikTok Studio to prevent feedback for your co-host or guests.
With these settings, your co-host or guest will not experience an echo from their audio, and you will be able to introduce fader controlled music and media from other applications such as Spotify or Google Chrome.
