How to Pair the RØDECaster Pro II / Duo with a RØDE Wireless Series IV Transmitter

You can connect a Wireless Series IV Transmitter (TX) directly to a RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo, allowing it to be used as a wireless microphone with your RØDECaster.

This feature is compatible with RØDE Series IV wireless transmitters and provides a cable free option for recording, streaming and production.

Pair a Wireless Transmitter

To pair a Wireless Series IV transmitter with your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo:

1. Power on your RØDECaster and Wireless transmitter.
2. Ensure both devices are updated to the latest firmware using the RØDECaster App and RØDE Central.
3. On the RØDECaster, press the square button above the fader you want to assign to the wireless transmitter.
4. Select the settings cog in the top right of the touchscreen.
5. Scroll through the input options and select Wireless.
6. Select either Channel 1 or Channel 2 of the internal wireless receiver.
7. Select the green tick to confirm.
8. Select Pair New Device to begin pairing.
9. On the Wireless transmitter, briefly press the power button (Ø). The transmitter will connect automatically.
10. Once paired, audio from the transmitter will appear on the selected channel, allowing you to monitor and control it from the RØDECaster.

Assign a Wireless Channel in the RØDECaster App

You can also assign a wireless receiver channel using the RØDECaster App.

Click and drag the Wireless input option onto the channel you want to use.

Using the Wireless Transmitter

After pairing, the Wireless transmitter can be used with your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo for recording, streaming and other production applications.
