You can connect a Wireless Series IV Transmitter (TX) directly to a RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo, allowing the device to function as a wireless microphone system. This feature is compatible only with RØDE Series IV wireless transmitters, providing a flexible cable-free solution for recording and streaming.
To pair a Wireless Series IV TX to your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo, follow the steps below:
- Power on both your RØDECaster and the Wireless TX. Make sure both are updated to the latest firmware using the RØDECaster app and RØDE Central app.
- On the RØDECaster, press the square button above the fader you wish to assign to the wireless transmitter.
- Select the settings cog icon at the top right of the screen.
- Scroll across the input selection options until you see the option for Wireless.
- Select the wireless option, and then you have the option to select either channel 1 or 2 of the internal wireless receiver.
- Hit the green tick.
- Tap Pair New Device to begin the pairing process.
- On the Wireless TX, briefly press the power button (Ø). The transmitter will connect automatically.
- Once paired, audio from the TX will appear on the selected channel, allowing full monitoring and control from the RØDECaster.
You can also assign the wireless channel via the RØDECaster App by click and dragging the wireless option onto one of the channels.
After pairing, the Wireless TX can be used with your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo for a wide range of recording, streaming, and production applications.
