It is now possible to establish a seamless connection between RØDE USB microphones and either the RØDECaster Pro II or the RØDECaster Duo. This capability greatly expands the microphone inputs, thereby increasing the capacity for accommodating additional guests on both the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo.
The following RØDE USB microphone models are fully compatible with the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo via USB:

To utilize this feature, it is vital to ensure that your RØDECaster Pro II is updated to at least firmware version 1.3.0. This firmware update can be conveniently performed through a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection, or via the RØDE Central Desktop App.
Here are the steps to connect your RØDE USB microphone to the RØDECaster Pro II:
- Power on the RØDECaster Pro II.
- Use a USB-C to USB-C cable to establish a connection between the USB microphone and the USB2 port on the RØDECaster Pro II.
- Navigate to the USB2 channel on your RØDECaster Pro II interface, where you will find the name of the connected microphone, along with access to audio processing options.
