If you need more analogue inputs than a single RØDECaster can provide, you can connect two RØDECaster Series units to the same Windows computer. This allows you to record up to eight analogue microphone inputs simultaneously in multitrack mode.
This setup is ideal for recording larger podcasts, live performances or any production requiring additional microphone inputs.
Compatible Products
This process works with any combination of RØDECaster Series devices, including:
- RØDECaster Pro
- RØDECaster Pro II
- RØDECaster Duo
The example below uses REAPER with a RØDECaster Pro and RØDECaster Pro II.

- Set both devices to Multitrack USB mode.

Configure the Input Range
Close the ASIO4ALL window and configure your DAW's available input channels:
- First Input: Pro Multichannel 1

This makes every multitrack input from both RØDECaster units available within your DAW.
Start Recording
- Close the Preferences window.
- Create a new audio track.
- Select the desired input for each track.
You'll now see every available multitrack input from both connected RØDECaster units.
