You can format a microSD card directly on the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo. Formatting prepares the card for recording and can help resolve issues caused by file system corruption or incompatible formatting.
Please note: Formatting permanently deletes all recordings, Shows and other data stored on the microSD card. Be sure to back up any important files before continuing.
Format a microSD Card
- Insert the microSD card into the card slot on the rear of your RØDECaster.
- Confirm the card has been recognised by checking that the REC button is illuminated green.
- From the main screen, tap the microSD card icon at the top of the display.
- Tap Erase.
- When prompted, confirm that you want to format the microSD card.
Tip: We recommend formatting new microSD cards in your RØDECaster before first use to ensure maximum compatibility and reliable recording performance.
