RØDE Central allows you to create and store camera gain presets on compatible Wireless receivers, making it quick and easy to match your receiver's output level to your camera. Presets are available for many popular camera models, and you can also create your own if your camera is not listed.
Camera gain presets are supported on the following products:
- Wireless GO II
- Wireless GO (3rd Gen)
- Wireless PRO
Create a Camera Gain Preset
- Open RØDE Central on your computer.
- Connect your Wireless receiver directly to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
- Select your Wireless RX from the device list.
- Under Output Gain Mode, select Camera.
- Select Default.
- Select Add Camera.
- Select the + button to create a new preset.
- Choose your camera manufacturer.
- Select your camera model.
Tip: If your camera is not listed, you can use a preset for a similar model as a starting point. You can also refer to our Gain Preset List for Wireless GO II, Wireless GO (3rd Gen) and Wireless PRO for available presets.
- Review the recommended camera settings for your selected preset.
- Save the preset to your Wireless receiver.
Using Camera Gain Presets
Once a preset has been saved, your selected camera model appears on the receiver display whenever the receiver is powered on, confirming that the preset is active.
If you have created multiple camera presets, press the dB button on the receiver to switch between them.
Tip: Camera gain presets are stored on the receiver, allowing you to quickly switch between different cameras without reconnecting to RØDE Central each time.
