If you've recently purchased the Wireless GO II kit, it's important to update the firmware using the RØDE Central desktop app. This update will unlock new features, capabilities, and connectivity for your Wireless GO II.
The RØDE Central desktop app allows you to easily configure device settings, activate or deactivate functions, access advanced features like fine gain control and safety channel, optimize and export on-board recordings (desktop only), set up your preferred recording mode, and update your device firmware to access the latest features.
- First, ensure that you have the latest version of the RØDE Central desktop app installed on your Mac or PC.
RØDE Central OS Requirements
- Mac: RØDE Central requires MacOS 11 or later.
- Windows: RØDE Central requires Windows 10 Version 1803 or later.
- Once you have downloaded and installed the latest version of the RØDE Central desktop app, connect the Wireless GO II units directly to your computer. You will see a red up arrow next to the units that require a firmware update.
- Click on the red up arrow to start the firmware update for each Wireless GO II unit. You can update them one by one or all at once.
Once you have updated the Wireless GO II units to the latest firmware, you can now customize and set up these microphones according to your specific needs.
