We will guide you on how to manually pair the Wireless GO II transmitter (TX) to the receiver (RX). This process is useful when you need to use multiple Wireless GO II kits and want to ensure that the transmitters and receivers are paired correctly.
Wireless GO II Pairing
1. Start by ensuring that each Wireless GO II transmitter and receiver are on the same firmware version.
- You can check this using the RØDE Central desktop app. If the units are not on the same firmware version, they may not be able to pair with each other.
- You can download the latest version of the RØDE Central desktop app from here.
2. Once you have confirmed that the firmware versions are the same, use the receiver to select the transmitter channel.
- Press the '1/2' button on the receiver to cycle through the available channels. The selected channel will be indicated by a grey box.
- Press once to select TX 1 channel, twice to select TX 2 channel, and three times to cancel.
3. After selecting the desired transmitter channel, press and hold the pair button '∞'on the receiver for three seconds. This will cause the wireless symbol to start flashing.
4. While the wireless symbol is flashing on the receiver, press the ‘Ø’ button once on the transmitter to initiate the pairing process.
5. If the transmitter doesn't pair successfully, you can try repeating steps 3 and 4. Sometimes, it may take a couple of attempts to establish a successful pairing.
By following these steps, you will be able to manually pair the Wireless GO II transmitter to the receiver. This process is essential when using multiple kits to ensure proper communication between the transmitters and receivers.
