The Wireless PRO receiver (RX) supports multiple channel routing modes, allowing you to choose how audio and timecode are output to your recording device. In addition to the standard Merge, Split and Safety modes, you can enable Timecode modes using RØDE Central on desktop or mobile.
RØDE Central OS Requirements
- Mac: MacOS 11 or later.
- Windows: Windows 10 Version 1803 or later.
RØDE Central: You can download the latest RØDE Central desktop app from here.
Enable Timecode Modes Using RØDE Central Desktop
- Open RØDE Central on your computer.
- Select the Wireless PRO RX from the device list.
- Open Channel Routing.
- Select Timecode.
- Choose your preferred Timecode mode and enable it.
Enable Timecode Modes Using RØDE Central Mobile
- Connect the Wireless PRO receiver directly to your mobile device using the supplied USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to Lightning cable.
- Open RØDE Central Mobile.
- Navigate to Channel Routing.
- Select Timecode.
- Enable your preferred Timecode mode.
Tip: Once a Timecode mode has been enabled in RØDE Central, it becomes available for selection directly on the Wireless PRO receiver.
Switch Channel Modes on the Wireless PRO Receiver
After enabling the required Timecode modes in RØDE Central, you can switch between all available channel modes directly from the receiver.
- Turn on the Wireless PRO receiver.
- Press and hold the Gain and CH buttons together for approximately 2–3 seconds.
- Press the Gain button to cycle through the available modes:
- Merge
- Split
- Safety
- Timecode (enabled modes only)
- Press the CH button to confirm your selection.
- Wait for the tick icon to appear in the lower-right corner of the display.
Success! Within a few seconds, the receiver returns to the Home screen and begins operating in the selected channel mode.
