The Wireless PRO can output both audio and timecode, making it easy to synchronise recordings with a compatible Zoom recorder during post-production. By recording timecode alongside your audio, you can quickly align your recordings with your camera footage.
Configure the Wireless PRO
- Open RØDE Central.
- Configure the Wireless PRO receiver to output Timecode 1 (TC1).
- Ensure the Wireless PRO timecode frame rate matches your camera's frame rate.

Please note: If your camera supports timecode jam-sync, synchronise the Wireless PRO with your camera before connecting the receiver to your Zoom recorder. This ensures all devices share the same timecode reference.
Connect to the Zoom Recorder
- Connect the Wireless PRO receiver to your Zoom recorder.
- If your recorder doesn't have a 3.5 mm microphone input, use two VXLR Pro adapters or HJA-4 adapters together with the SC11 cable to split the signal across the recorder's two XLR inputs.
Audio and Timecode Routing
When configured for timecode output:
- The left channel carries your microphone audio.
- The right channel carries the timecode signal.
Recording both signals simultaneously allows compatible editing software to synchronise your audio with video automatically during post-production.
