Using timecode with a Zoom Recorder simplifies syncing audio and video, especially with professional gear like the Wireless PRO system.
- First, configure the Wireless PRO receiver in the RØDE Central App to output Timecode 1 (TC1).
- This generates the timecode signal needed for syncing.

- Ensure the Wireless PRO timecode frame rate matches your camera’s frame rate to avoid sync issues.
- If your camera supports timecode jamming, connect the Wireless PRO receiver to the camera first to sync clocks, then connect it to the Zoom Recorder for perfect alignment.

- Next, connect the Wireless PRO receiver to your Zoom Recorder.
- The receiver sends audio from the TX to the left channel and timecode to the right channel, allowing the Zoom to capture both simultaneously for easy post-production sync.
