RØDE has now made it possible for you to receive individual receivers and transmitters, offering a convenient way to expand your audio setup or replace lost units. This flexibility allows you to customise your equipment according to your specific needs, whether you're a professional audio engineer, a content creator, or someone who simply enjoys high-quality sound.
However, it's important to note that before you can begin recording with your new Wireless systems, you must pair each receiver with a transmitter. This pairing process is essential for ensuring that the devices communicate effectively, allowing for seamless audio transmission. Once paired, you will be able to enjoy the enhanced capabilities of your setup, making it easier to capture clear and professional-quality audio for your projects.
This article will explain how to pair and connect the Wireless PRO or Wireless GO (3rd Gen) receiver (RX) with a Wireless Series IV transmitter (TX) for seamless wireless audio recording.
Wireless PRO Pairing | Wireless GO (3rd Gen) Pairing |
Wireless PRO Pairing Method
- Before starting, ensure both the transmitter and receiver have the same firmware version using the RØDE Central app. Mismatched versions can cause connection issues, so check for updates first.
-
Once firmware versions are confirmed, power on both Wireless PRO receiver and Wireless TX.
-
With the wireless units on, find the receiver and press the right 'CH/∞' button to select your desired channel. The display should show "Hold to Pair New Device" when ready to pair.
- Next, press and hold the 'CH/∞' button again. The display will show "Pair TX Now" with a flashing wireless symbol, indicating it's searching for a transmitter.
- While the wireless symbol is flashing, press the ‘Ø’ button on the transmitter to send a pairing signal.
