By utilizing the Wireless PRO RX's USB-C output, you can easily connect a TRRS 3.5mm microphone or headset to the 3.5mm port on the RX. This allows seamless audio monitoring from the Wireless PRO TX. With a TRRS 3.5mm headset, you can even employ the headset microphone with the Wireless PRO RX.
To activate the Headset Gain mode, follow these steps directly on the Wireless PRO RX or through the RØDE Central platform:
Activate from the Wireless PRO RX:
- Press the right 'CH' button until you access the Gain mode.
- Find the left gain button and press it until a Blue headset icon appears.
- Once selected, let the RX remain until the main screen reappears.
- You'll now spot a blue headset icon on the top right corner, confirming the Headset Gain mode has be activated.
Through RØDE Central:
- Launch the latest RØDE Central desktop app on your Windows or Mac computer.
- Select the Wireless PRO RX. Click on the Gain Mode option.

Choose 'Headset'. A new headset option will appear in the settings on the right-hand side.
