Each Wireless GO II transmitter includes built in onboard recording, allowing audio to be recorded directly to the transmitter as a backup or as your primary recording. Each transmitter can store more than 40 hours of compressed recordings or approximately 7 hours of uncompressed recordings.
Onboard recording is configured in RØDE Central, where you can choose how recordings start and when they are saved.
RØDE Central: You can download the latest RØDE Central desktop app from here.
Enable Onboard Recording
- Open RØDE Central on your computer.
- Select the Wireless GO II TX from the device list.
- Locate the Onboard Recording section.
- Select the Record setting.
- Choose one of the available recording modes:
- Always records continuously whenever the transmitter is powered on.
- Backup records while transmitting audio to the receiver.
- Button allows recording to be started and stopped using the transmitter.
Tip: Once onboard recording has been enabled, a red REC indicator appears above the corresponding channel on the Wireless GO II receiver whenever the transmitter is recording.
Please note: Firmware updates and factory resets restore the transmitter to its default settings. Always check your onboard recording mode before recording to ensure it is configured as expected.
