The RØDECaster series includes dedicated Listen and Mute buttons on every channel. These controls allow you to monitor individual channels, quickly silence audio and manage your recording or live production with confidence.
Listen 
Pressing the Listen button isolates the selected channel so it can be monitored through Headphone Output 1.
This allows the host or producer to:
- Check microphone audio before it is heard by other participants.
- Adjust channel levels.
- Troubleshoot audio issues during a recording or live production.

Mute 
Pressing the Mute button silences the selected channel, preventing its audio from being sent to the main mix, headphone outputs and other audio outputs.
This is useful for temporarily muting a microphone or removing unwanted audio without changing the channel fader position.
