The RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo include a range of built-in voice effects, such as reverb, delay, pitch shifting, robot voice, and megaphone effects.
These effects are processed using the microphone channel processing engine and are therefore only available on supported microphone inputs.
Inputs That Support Voice Effects
Voice effects can be applied to the following input types:
- Combo XLR / ¼-inch inputs
- Wireless microphone channels
These channels support the complete microphone processing chain, including:
- Voice effects
- APHEX® processing
- Noise gate
- Compressor
- Equaliser
- De-esser
Inputs That Do Not Support Voice Effects
Voice effects are not available on the following channels:
- USB
- Bluetooth
These inputs bypass the microphone processing engine and therefore do not support voice effects or microphone-specific processing.
If you are using a USB audio source, Bluetooth device, or line-level source, voice effects will not be available.
