If you're curious about the meaning of the Noise Gate indicators on the RØDECaster Pro II, RØDECaster Duo, and RØDE Connect/Unify software, we have provided a simple explanation below.
The Noise Gate has two indicators.
- The large-dotted line shows where the gate opens, which is controlled by the Threshold control.
- The small-dotted line indicates when the gate closes again after being open, and it is controlled by the Hysteresis control. When the Hysteresis is set to 0, both lines merge, meaning the gate opens and closes at the same volume
The line representing your input sound turns green when the gate is opened and turns white when the gate is closed.
Additionally, the bars on the right side represent the input level (white bars) and the output level (green bars).
