You can enable Beta Mode on your RØDECaster Pro II to access beta firmware versions before public release.
Enable Beta Mode
- Go to Settings.
- Select System.
- Tap Information.
- Select View Device Information, then tap inside the black information box approximately 10–12 times.
If your RØDECaster Pro II is connected to the internet and a beta firmware version is available, you will be prompted to update.
Disable Beta Mode
To disable Beta Mode, repeat the steps above.
Important: Beta firmware is pre-release software. While it is thoroughly tested, it may contain bugs or stability issues. We do not recommend using beta firmware for critical recordings.
Avoid saving Shows that you plan to continue using on public release firmware, as compatibility issues may occur when switching back.
