If you're having time zone issues with your RØDECaster Pro II or Duo, it can affect recording accuracy, scheduled events, and file timestamps. It's important to resolve these problems to keep your device running smoothly and your recordings correctly dated and timed.
Here’s a quick guide to fixing time zone issues on your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot and fix time zone discrepancies on your device:
Check your Date & Time Settings
- Check that the time and time zone are set correctly. Go to System > Date & Time in your device’s menu to view and adjust these settings.
- Select your correct time zone, and make sure it matches your local region.
- After making changes, tap the tick icon at the top right to save.
Keeping the unit connected to power
- Keep your device plugged in when not in use. The internal battery only maintains the time for a short period; leaving the device unplugged too long can cause the time to reset or drift.
