The latest firmware for RØDE CallMe allows the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo to join Zoom meetings using SIP, including support for video streaming when configured correctly.
Before getting started, make sure you have the required subscriptions and have enabled video streaming on your RØDECaster.
Requirements
- An active RØDE CallMe Pro subscription.
- A Zoom Conference Room Connector licence.
- A compatible Zoom licence associated with your account.
Enable Video Streaming
Video streaming can be enabled either from the RØDECaster itself or through the web interface.
Using the RØDECaster
- Open CallMe.
- Navigate to Advanced (Page 2).
- Enable Video Stream.
Using the Web Interface
- Open the RØDECaster Web Interface.
- Navigate to System Settings.
- Enable Video Stream.
- Select Save.
Join a Zoom Meeting
Once your Zoom meeting has started, the RØDECaster can join the meeting directly using a SIP URI.
- Start or schedule your Zoom meeting as normal.
- Open the CallMe channel.
- Select CallMe Configuration.
- Enter the following SIP URI:
MeetingID.Passcode@zoomcrc.com
Replace MeetingID with your Zoom meeting ID and Passcode with the meeting passcode.
Configure any required codec settings, then place the call.

Tip: If you regularly join the same meetings, save the SIP URI as a Quick Dial contact or assign it to a SMART Pad for one-touch dialling.

Please note: Purchasing a Zoom Conference Room Connector licence does not require a separate Zoom Rooms subscription. For many users, adding the Conference Room Connector licence to an existing Zoom Workplace Pro licence is the most cost-effective option.
