In order to configure a SMART Pad for Quick Dial functionality with another RØDECaster, it is essential to first set up the Quick Dial feature on your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo:
Setup Quick Dial
- Make sure that you have a fader set for your calls. You can quickly assign a fader by going into your RØDECaster's configurations and selecting the "Faders" option, choosing an available fader, and selecting the Call ME option.
- Once assigned, open the CallME menu by tapping the arrows icon at the top right of your device's home screen
- Beneath an available CallMe Channel, select the green 'Ready, Make a Call' button
- You should now see a screen with your available Quick Dial spaces.
- In an available Quick Dial space, enter the Name and unique code of the RØDECaster you would like to connect to, and press Save.
Please note: If the RØDECaster in the Quick Dial space changes their unique code
at any point, you will need to update the code for the feature to continue
working
Setup Quick Dial to a Smart Pad
Now that the Quick Dial space has been configured, you can easily assign it to a SMART Pad:
- On your home screen, select an empty SMART Pad space
- In the New SMART Pad menu, select 'Quick Dials'
- Choose the Quick Dial to assign to the SMART Pad and press the green check mark at the top right
You should be able to now quick dial any saved CallMe device that has been saved in the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo with a touch of a SmartPad button!
