Can you use Passive Speakers with RØDECaster Series?

The RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo cannot power passive speakers directly.

To use passive speakers, an external amplifier is required.

1. Connect an amplifier
   • Connect the amplifier to the 1/4" monitor outputs on the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo.
   • This sends a line-level audio signal from the RØDECaster to the amplifier.
2. Connect your passive speakers
   • Connect your passive speakers to the amplifier, not directly to the RØDECaster.
   • The amplifier provides the required power to drive the speakers.

This setup ensures proper signal flow and reliable, high-quality audio playback when using passive speakers.
