Accessing network information on the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo is a straightforward process that can be accomplished through two primary methods: directly from the RØDECaster itself or via the RØDE Central software.
Both methods allow users to view essential network details such as the IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS information.
Pro Tip: You can get the MAC Address from your router settings or a mobile device connected to the RØDECaster via hotspot.
Network Information from the RØDECaster:
- Select the settings cog located at the top right corner of the screen on your RØDECaster unit.
- Then select the "System" option.
- Within the System menu, look for the "Network" option and select it.
- Next, choose the "Advanced" option to dive deeper into the network settings.
- Here, you will find all relevant network information displayed, including the IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS details.
Network Information via RØDE Central:
- Start by opening the RØDE Central on your computer.
- Once RØDE Central is open, navigate to the "Device Configuration" section.
- In this section, select the "System" option to view system settings.
- Then, click on "Network" to access the network information for your RØDECaster unit.
- All the necessary network details will be readily available for you to review on the right side.
