The RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo cannot be used as USB audio devices with gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
This is due to USB audio limitations imposed by the consoles, which prevent them from recognising the RØDECaster as a supported USB audio interface.
Please note: This is a limitation of the gaming consoles and is not caused by the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo.
How to Capture Game Audio
You can still capture game audio by connecting the console controller's 3.5 mm headset output to one of the RØDECaster's analogue inputs using a suitable cable.
This allows you to bring your game audio into your mix alongside microphones, music and other audio sources.
