To update the RØDE Microphone's firmware, please follow the below steps:
- Disconnect the RØDE Microphone from the mobile device.
- Connect the RØDE Microphone directly to a computer (Windows/Mac) using the RØDE Central Desktop App through a USB connection.
- The RØDE Central Desktop App will automatically detect the RØDE Microphone and prompt for a firmware update. Once the firmware update is finished, reconnect the RØDE Microphone to the mobile device using a USB connection.
Note: If you do not receive a prompt to update the firmware of your RØDE Microphone, please consult our article on the RØDE USB Product Firmware Database to verify that your RØDE Microphone is running the latest firmware version. If your microphone is not on the latest firmware and the RØDE Central Desktop App does not prompt you for an update, please uninstall and reinstall the RØDE Central Desktop App on your computer.
