It is recommended to delete recordings on your RØDE product after each recording session, particularly after ensuring they have been backed up or exported onto your computer.
The following guide outlines the process for deleting recordings on the Wireless GO II, Wireless GO (3rd Gen), Wireless PRO using the RØDE Central desktop app and RØDECaster Pro II, and RØDECaster Duo using the RØDECaster desktop app:
RØDE Central: You can download the latest RØDE Central desktop app from here.
Wireless GO II / Wireless PRO:
- Open the RØDE Central.
- Connect your Wireless TX to the computer.
- Select “Recordings”.
- Press the “Delete All” option.
- Select “Yes, delete”.
Warning: Once files are deleted, they cannot be recovered.
RØDECaster Pro II / RØDECaster Duo:
- Open the RØDECaster app on your computer.
- Ensure the MicroSD card is connected to the RØDECaster Pro II / RØDECaster Duo.
- Connect the RØDECaster unit via the USB1 port to your computer.
- Select the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo on the left side of the app.
- Choose 'Transfer Recordings.'
- Allow up to 30 seconds for the MicroSD card to mount to the software.
- Select the audio file you wish to remove and click 'Delete.'
Warning: Once files are deleted, they cannot be recovered.
