The Streamer X functions as both a game capture card and an audio interface. Like most capture cards, it does not include a dedicated power button.
To power down the Streamer X when it is not in use, use one of the methods below.

Power the Streamer X via your computer
- Connect the Streamer X USB 1 port directly to your computer using the supplied SuperSpeed USB-C cable.
- When you shut down your computer, the Streamer X will also power off.

Disconnect the power cable
- You can safely unplug the USB-C power cable from the Streamer X when it is not in use.
- This will not damage the Streamer X.
Important for laptop users:
- When a laptop enters Sleep or Hibernation mode, the Streamer X may continue to draw power.
- If your laptop is running on battery power, this can result in additional battery drain.
