If you are experiencing issues with the RØDE Streamer X not being recognised on a Windows computer, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
- First, power cycle the Streamer X.
- Disconnect the USB cable and any external power sources, then fully power off the Streamer X.
- Restart your Windows computer, then connect the Streamer X directly to the computer using the supplied USB-C SuperSpeed cable.
- Avoid connecting through USB hubs, docks, or adapters during troubleshooting, as these can sometimes prevent proper detection.
- Launch the RØDECaster App and check whether the Streamer X is recognised.
Please note: The Streamer X requires a USB 3.0 / SuperSpeed connection for proper operation. Using unsupported cables or USB 2.0 ports may prevent the device from being detected correctly.
