The RØDE Wireless Kits (including the Wireless GO, Wireless GO II, Wireless PRO and Wireless ME systems) are primarily designed for use with a 3.5mm TRS input. However, if you want to connect it to XLR inputs on mixers, cameras, audio interfaces, or recorders, you will need an XLR adapter such as the VXLR Pro.
The VXLR Pro is specifically designed to convert a 3.5mm TRS output to a standard XLR input. This is particularly helpful when connecting the Wireless Transmitters to professional audio equipment such as mixers, cameras, audio interfaces, or recorders that have XLR inputs.
The VXLR Pro is built with high-quality components that maintain the integrity of the audio signal. It ensures a clean and accurate transfer of the audio from the Wireless kit to the XLR input, minimizing signal degradation or interference that can occur with cheaper or inferior XLR adapters.
Need Separate Audio Signals?
If your setup requires two independent audio channels from each Wireless transmitter (Wireless GO II/ Wireless ME and Wireless PRO dual kits only), you'll need to use the SC11 splitter TRS 3.5mm cable connected to the Wireless Receiver with 2x VXLR Pros'
To achieve dual outputs from the Wireless Series IV kit, you need to set the Wireless Receiver in to a 'Split' mode (Stereo signal) and connect the SC11 to the 3.5mm output of Wireless Receiver and two VXLR Pros' to the other ends of the SC11 cable.
The VXLR Pro will then connect into the device's XLR ports for two independent inputs from each Wireless Transmitter.
