You can connect a Wireless Series IV Transmitter (TX) directly to a RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo, allowing the device to function as a wireless microphone system. This feature is compatible only with RØDE Series IV wireless transmitters, providing a flexible cable-free solution for recording and streaming.
To pair a Wireless Series IV TX to your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo, follow the steps below:
- Power on both your RØDECaster and the Wireless TX.
- On the RØDECaster, select an available input channel and open the microphone options.
- Scroll through the pre-sets until you find and select Wireless.
- Tap Pair New Device to begin the pairing process.
- On the Wireless TX, briefly press the power button (Ø). The transmitter will connect automatically.
- Once paired, audio from the TX will appear on the selected channel, allowing full monitoring and control from the RØDECaster.
After pairing, the Wireless TX can be used with your RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo for a wide range of recording, streaming, and production applications.
Please note: Each connected Wireless TX occupies one physical input channel.
- RØDECaster Pro II — supports up to two wireless transmitters
- RØDECaster Duo — supports one wireless transmitter per input (two total)
