If your RØDE Wireless Receiver (RX) is not being detected when connected to your phone, this is usually related to the cable being used, device compatibility, or connection issues.
Check You Are Using the Correct Cable
Different RØDE wireless systems require specific cables depending on your device:
Wireless GO II, Wireless GO (3rd Gen), Wireless PRO, Wireless ME
- Use a USB-C to USB-C cable for Android devices or iPhone 15 and newer.
- For older iPhones (Lightning), use an MFi-certified cable such as the SC15, SC19, or SC21.
Wireless GO (Original)
- USB connection is not supported.
- Use a TRS to TRRS cable (e.g. SC7) to connect via the headphone/mic input.
Wireless Micro
- Includes a built-in USB-C or Lightning connector for direct connection to devices.
Check the Physical Connection
- Ensure the cable is firmly connected to both the receiver and your phone.
- Remove your phone case to make sure it is not blocking the connection.
- Try a different cable if available to rule out a faulty cable.
