The Fade to Black (FTB) feature on the RØDECaster Video and RØDECaster Video S allows you to instantly transition your video output to a black screen. This can be useful during breaks, scene transitions, or when ending a production.
If you would prefer to prevent accidental activation of this feature, you can disable the Fade to Black button directly from the device settings.
Disable Fade to Black
- Press the Inspect button on the RØDECaster Video / S.
- Select the Fade to Black button from the interface.
- Turn the toggle Off.
Once disabled, pressing the Fade to Black button will no longer affect the video output.
You can re-enable the Fade to Black feature at any time by returning to the same settings menu and turning the toggle back on.
