If you are encountering call dropouts while using the CallME feature, several factors may be contributing to this issue. We recommend that you verify the following:
Check Your Internet Connection
When possible, we recommend connecting your device to the internet via ethernet to ensure the fastest and most stable connection. Additionally, you will want to ensure that your connection is providing adequate speed to comfortably handle a call.
We recommend a minimum download speed of 25Mbps and upload speed of 5Mbps for a stable connection.
Document Time Between Dropouts
Noting the time between dropouts when taking a call can also help to determine the source of the issue.
- 30 Seconds - This indicates SIP Blocking, since SIP retries for about 32 seconds before giving up.
- 60/120 Seconds - This indicates RTP blocking. Consider any Firewall or Network configurations which may be preventing the call from taking place.
