With the RØDECaster Video firmware version 1.1.0, we introduced a highly beneficial failsafe feature designed to protect your recordings from interruptions. This is also known as a "Recoverable MP4 File System".
This enhancement preserves your recorded audio and video content by creating save points every 10-30 seconds, even during unexpected power loss or if the SSD is removed from the RØDECaster Video.
As a result of these advancements, users can now enjoy peace of mind knowing that in the event of an interruption, such as a power outage or accidental SSD removal, they will experience minimal data loss.
