Have you ever wondered why the screen of your receiver becomes dim after a few seconds? Well, the reason behind this is quite simple. The receiver is designed to conserve battery power, and one way it does this is by automatically dimming the screen after a certain period of inactivity.
Typically, after around 10 seconds of no user interaction, the receiver will dim the screen to reduce power consumption. This is especially useful when you may not actively be using the receiver, but still want to keep it powered on.
However, if you prefer to have the backlight illuminated constantly, there is a way to override this default behaviour. By enabling the Backlight option in the RØDE Central app, you can ensure that the screen remains bright regardless of inactivity.
To enable the Backlight option, simply follow these steps:
- Open the RØDE Central app on your computer or mobile device.
- Connect the receiver to your device using the appropriate cable.
- Navigate to the 'Device' section of the app.
- Look for the option "Auto-Dim" and enable it.
Once you have enabled the Backlight option, the receiver's screen will no longer dim after a few seconds of inactivity. Instead, it will remain illuminated at all times, providing you with constant visibility and convenience.
