The Streamer X is equipped with two USB connections on the back of the unit: USB1 and USB2. USB1 serves as the Streamer X Main input and output channels as well as the HDMI audio input, while USB2 functions as the Streamer X Secondary input and output channels.
To set up the Streamer X with two computers, follow these steps:
- Connect the gaming PC to the USB2 port on the Streamer X.
- Connect the streaming PC to the USB1 port on the Streamer X. Please note: be sure to use the Superspeed USB cable supplied with the Streamer X
- Make sure both computers are powered on and running.
- On the gaming PC, configure the video settings to output the video feed to the Streamer X via HDMI. This can usually be done through the graphics card settings you are using.
- Launch your streaming software on the streaming PC, such as OBS.
- In OBS, configure the video settings to receive the video feed from the Streamer X. This can be done by selecting the appropriate input source in the OBS settings.
- You are now ready to start streaming. Make sure to test your setup and adjust any settings as needed.
