To protect against fraudulent requests and ensure fairness and consistency for customers, distributors, and authorised dealers worldwide, all warranty claims are assessed in accordance with our published warranty terms and conditions.
Customers who have purchased new from an authorised RØDE dealer are entitled to warranty coverage for the applicable warranty period outlined in our published resources.
RØDE reserves the right to reject warranty claims that do not comply with our published terms and conditions.

Note that the status of a record within RØDE's warranty portal does not validate the warranty; each case is assessed individually through our support team and global distributor network.
Product damage or loss
The RØDE warranty does not cover damage or faults caused by, or limited to:
- Accidental damage, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper handling or loss
- Exposure to liquids, moisture, dust, excessive heat, corrosive environments, chemicals, or electromagnetic interference
- Failure to clean, maintain, or use the product according to RØDE's instructions and specifications
- Normal wear and tear, or wear resulting from excessive or commercial use
- Use with incompatible, defective, or non-approved equipment
- Unauthorised modifications, repairs, or servicing
- Altered, removed, or illegible serial numbers
- Events outside RØDE's control, such as accidents, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
Additional exclusions
- A defect was visible or should reasonably have been identified before purchase
- The defect was specifically disclosed before purchase.
Insufficient Proof of Purchase document
A claim is likely to be declined if:
- Proof of purchase is not supplied
- Proof of purchase is not the original receipt/invoice (images of shopping carts will not be accepted)
- The product was purchased second-hand without a valid original proof of purchase from an authorised RØDE dealer
- The product was purchased from an unauthorised reseller or marketplace seller
- The product was not sold as brand-new (e.g. refurbished/B-Stock/ex-display).
Please note that items received as 'gifts' where claimants are unable to retrieve the original proof of purchase will be considered invalid.

Warranty Period Expired
Each RØDE product has a specified period of warranty coverage, ranging from one-year to two (2), five (5), ten (10) and even lifetime on some products:

While the above guidelines apply to all warranty assessments, RØDE recognises that individual circumstances can vary. Where appropriate, we may review cases on their own merits and, at our sole discretion, consider exceptions or goodwill assistance where this is reasonable and consistent with our policies.
