The answer depends largely on the specific device you own and the way you intend to use the kit. For users who have a Wireless Micro Lightning kit and are considering using it with an iPhone 15 and above that features a USB-C port, the Lightning receiver is not physically compatible with USB-C ports.
You may find yourself in this situation if you have upgraded your phone from a Lightning to a USB-C model.
There are, however, alternative ways to connect Wireless Micro transmitters to your iPhone:
Direct Connect
This allows you to connect transmitters directly to your USB-C iPhone over Bluetooth without a receiver or extra adapters. For setup instructions, see our article: Setting Up Direct Connect with the Wireless Micro
Direct Connect is designed to be used exclusively with the RØDE Capture app.
Requires firmware v2.08 or later.

Wireless Micro Camera Receiver (CRX)
You can also use the Wireless Micro Camera Receiver as a bridge between your transmitters and your iPhone, even with a USB-C port. This offers more flexibility for different devices.
For detailed steps on connecting transmitters to the Camera Receiver, see our guide: How to Connect the Wireless Micro Transmitters to the Camera Receiver (CRX)
Apple Adapter
The official Apple USB-C to Lightning Adapter has been tested to support connection with RØDE apps and the Apple Native Camera app on both iPhone/MacOS. Third-party variants are unlikely to work and have not been tested.
Plug the Lightning RX from your kit into the port on the adapter, and the USB-C end into your phone/Mac. You will need to remove the TX1 and/or TX2 from the case - and ensure they are paired to the RX - to configure their settings.
