This article guides you on setting up Direct Connect with the Wireless Micro. This new feature allows direct linking of Wireless Micro transmitters to mobile devices, removing the need for a Wireless Micro Receiver.
It simplifies setup and enhances mobility for high-quality audio recording on the go.
- First, ensure Bluetooth is activated on your mobile device.
- Open the RØDE Capture app on your device.
- In the app, find the microphone symbol in the top left corner to access audio input settings.
- Select the 'Direct Connect' option to start pairing your mobile device with the Wireless Micro transmitters.
- Remove the transmitters from their charging case, ensuring they are powered on.
- Watch your mobile screen for available transmitters.
- Once visible, press each transmitter to connect.
- This process is quick and allows multiple connections if needed.
- After pairing, the transmitters will send audio directly to your mobile device during recording, enhancing your experience without extra hardware.
Please note: Direct Connect is exclusive to the RØDE Capture app. For other recording apps, use the Wireless Micro Receiver for connectivity
