Keeping your Wireless Micro up to date ensures you have the latest features, improvements, and fixes.
You can update the firmware using either the RØDE Central Mobile app or the RØDE Central Desktop app.
Please note:
- Ensure the transmitters are fully charged.
- Remove the transmitters from the charging case before updating.
- The RØDE Central app cannot recognise or update the Wireless Micro while it is in the charging case.
Update using the RØDE Central Mobile app
- Open the RØDE Central app on your mobile device.
- Connect the Wireless Micro RX directly to your device via USB-C or Lightning.
- If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompt to update the RX and TX units.
Update using the RØDE Central Desktop app
- Open the RØDE Central app on your computer.
- Connect the Wireless Micro RX directly to a USB-C port on the computer.
- If you have the Wireless Micro (Lightning version), you can use the official Apple USB-C to Lightning adapter to connect the RX.
- If an update is available, you will see an on-screen prompt/indicator to start the firmware update.
