Before we begin, make sure you have RØDE Connect installed on your computer and your microphone and audio channels set up properly. If you need assistance with this, you can refer to our article on "Getting started with RØDE Connect" for detailed instructions.
Once you have everything set up, follow these steps:
- Open RØDE Connect on your computer.
- On the top right corner of the interface, click on the menu button.
- Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
- In the preferences window, navigate to the "Recording" section.
- Under the recording section, select the option for "Multi-channel" recording.
- Now you are ready to start recording Multitrack sessions within RØDE Connect.
Once you have finished recording your Multitrack session, you may want to export the recordings for further editing or sharing. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to the main screen of RØDE Connect.
- Click on the "Recordings view".
- Select the recording you want to export.
- Make sure the recording states "Multi-channel" underneath its name, indicating that it is a Multitrack recording.
- Click on the "Export" button.
- Choose the location on your computer where you want to export the recording session.
- RØDE Connect will create a folder containing each track you have recorded.
- Open the folder to access the individual tracks.
