No, the RØDECaster Video is capable of directly streaming to popular platforms such as Twitch and Youtube. To do so, you simply need to utilize a Stream key and Server information provided by the platform to which you wish to stream.
However, you can output the audio when connecting the RØDECaster Video to a computer to streaming software such as OBS.
