To ensure optimal performance of your RØDE Wireless GO II, follow these steps to update the firmware and troubleshoot any power-related issues:
- To start, ensure that your Wireless GO II is running the latest firmware.
- Follow our comprehensive guide on How to perform a Firmware Update with the Wireless GO II.
- Connect your Wireless GO II to a different USB power source or outlet using a reliable third-party USB cable.
- This will help determine if the problem lies with the power cable or source.
- Allow the unit to charge for at least 2 hours before proceeding to the next step.
- To power on the Wireless GO II, firmly press and hold the 'Ø' button.
- The unit should turn on within 3-5 seconds. In some cases, after experiencing issues during a firmware update, the unit may enter bootloader mode. If this happens, press and hold the 'Ø' button for 15-20 seconds to turn on the device.
- Perform a diagnostic test on the Wireless GO II unit using RØDE Central.

Please note: During the diagnostic test, you'll be prompted to disconnect RØDE Device, This is to ensure the correct RØDE device is being diagnosed. You'll then be instructed to reconnect the device.
