ARM processors use a different architecture from traditional Intel or AMD x64 processors. A well-known example of this type of change is Apple moving from Intel processors to its Apple silicon M-series processors.
ARM-based computers are not currently supported with RØDE applications and drivers.
How do I know If my computer is ARM-Based?
When checking your computer's system information, look at the processor or system type.
- If your computer is listed as an ARM-based PC, it uses an ARM64-based processor.
- If your computer is listed as an x64-based PC, it is not an ARM-based computer.
An x64-based PC and an ARM64-based PC use different processor architectures. If your system specifically displays ARM-based PC, your computer uses an ARM64 processor.
