The RØDECaster Video includes an Import/Export Show feature, allowing you to back up and restore your production setup, including scenes, inputs, audio routing, media, and other project settings.
Why is a microSD Card Required?
On the RØDECaster Video, all media files used for overlays, backgrounds, and inserts are stored on the installed microSD card.
Because media forms part of a show, a microSD card must be inserted before you can import or export a show.
Before Importing or Exporting a Show
Before using the Import/Export Show feature, ensure:
- A compatible microSD card is inserted into the RØDECaster Video.
- The card has sufficient free space for your media files.
- The card remains inserted throughout the import or export process.
For recommended cards and specifications, please see:
RØDECaster Video S and RØDECaster Video Core
This requirement only applies to the RØDECaster Video.
The RØDECaster Video S and RØDECaster Video Core include 20 GB of built-in internal storage for media files, so a microSD card is not required to import or export shows.
