The RØDECaster Video, RØDECaster Video S, and RØDECaster Video Core feature a built-in Keying function that allows you to apply chroma keys (green or blue screen) or luma keys to video sources.
This enables you to place presenters in front of images, videos, graphics, or even other video inputs for virtual production workflows.
How Many Keyed Sources Are Supported?
The RØDECaster Video range supports a maximum of two active keyed sources at any one time.
This limitation applies to:
- RØDECaster Video
- RØDECaster Video S
- RØDECaster Video Core
Using the Keying Function
The Keying button automatically applies a chroma key (green screen or blue screen) or a luma key to the Preview feed when operating in Studio Mode, or directly to the Program feed when operating in Instant Mode.
