RØDECaster Sync is a powerful feature that expands the capabilities of the RØDECaster Video Core when connected to a RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo.
Using a single USB-C cable, both devices integrate into one unified AV production system, delivering greater control and significantly expanded input and output flexibility.
Enhanced Interface
- Control video and audio across both devices from the RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo
- Use physical and virtual faders
- Access mute and listen buttons
- Trigger SMART pads
- Manage settings via the touchscreen display
This provides hands-on control over your combined production setup.
Expanded Inputs and Outputs
- All audio inputs and outputs from both devices become available
- Greater routing flexibility than any standalone RØDECaster setup
- Ideal for larger or more complex productions
Sync Mode Mixer Behaviour
In Sync Mode, both devices share a single nine-channel mixer. This mixer is initially populated using the current configuration on your RØDECaster Video Core at the moment of connection.
You can assign any input from either device to this shared mixer. Any adjustments made while in Sync Mode will remain saved to your RØDECaster Video Core — even after exiting Sync Mode on the RØDECaster Pro II or Duo.
The result is a tightly integrated production system where audio and video operate as one cohesive workflow.
