If you experience green or pink output from HDMI cameras when viewing the live feed on the RØDECaster Video, typically occurs when the input source connected to the RØDECaster Video is transmitting an 'RGB' colour space signal.
Please note: the RØDECaster Video is specifically designed to process input
in the 'YUV' format. This is a key difference compared to other devices, such
as the ATEM MINI, which can accommodate both 'RGB' and 'YUV' formats
Below are detailed steps to troubleshoot this issue:
- Ensure that all connected cameras are configured to output in 'YUV' format.
- Power down all connected devices, including the cameras and the RØDECaster Video.
- Disconnect each camera and then reconnect them while they are still powered off.
- Power on the RØDECaster Video first.
- After the RØDECaster Video is powered on, turn on the cameras.
- Check if the visual anomaly still exists. If the visual anomaly persists, try connecting the cameras using a different HDMI cable.
